My History

Megan is a first-generation college graduate raised by a single mother in Appalachia, so she is passionate about ensuring that her clients receive quality legal representation, regardless of income or other hardships.

Megan is a native of Eastern Kentucky. At 16, she began working at Walmart in her hometown and held several positions throughout her nine years with the company, including working as a sales associate, manager, and Human Resources coordinator. She understands struggling and working to make a living.

Megan made the decision to go to law school because of her love for writing and because she understands the importance of the representation of women in the practice of law, which is why she is excited to join the law firm of Flora Templeton Stuart as an attorney.

During her final year of law school, Megan had the unique opportunity to practice with the UK College of Law Legal Clinic. With the Legal Clinic, Megan was able to advise, counsel, and represent clients in need on a variety of civil legal matters.

After law school, Megan practiced civil defense litigation. She has experience litigating various types of cases, developing complex case strategies, and obtaining favorable results for clients both in and out of court.
