Helping the Injured for 40 Years
Flora Templeton Stuart began her law career four decades ago as the first female attorney to practice and litigate a case in court in Warren County, Kentucky. In 1978 Ms. Stuart received national recognition in her representation of a young woman, Marla Pitchford, in which she attained an acquittal for her client. Ms. Stuart has been quoted in several books about women in law. Ms. Stuart has been recognized in Time Magazine, Newsweek, and Career Journal with appearances on Good Morning America and Phil Donahue. Since 1978 Ms. Stuart has had several cases of notoriety which evolved her practice representing the injured as a personal injury attorney. Community service has been the cornerstone of her career as a past educator and teacher. Her contributions have given a voice to those in need.

Flora Templeton Stuart holds a BA from Western Kentucky University as an honor student and received her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase Law School in 1976. She has the distinction of being the first female attorney to litigate circuit court cases in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Ms. Stuart served as Public Advocate representing indigent clients with many noteworthy cases, including the successful defense of a young woman with appearances on Phil Donahue and Good Morning America. She was featured in Time Magazine (Full article) and SOKY  and was recognized with a Women of Achievement Award and the Donated Legal Services Award. Ms. Stuart has been recognized throughout the country for representation of her clients.
Flora Stuart represents the severely injured in automobile and semi truck collisions, as well as victims of identity theft. She is an active member of the Kentucky Justice Association, American Association for Justice Trucking Litigation Group, Kentucky Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association and the Bowling Green – Warren County Bar Association.
Ms. Stuart believes in serving her community and founded BG OnStage and Poppy’s Field Trip for schools. Ms. Stuart is active in countless community activities while she frequently lectures in local schools as a former certified teacher.
Flora Stuart is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Tennessee, US Federal District Court and the Western District of Kentucky, the Supreme Court of Kentucky and has been ad hoc counsel throughout the country in truck and auto collisions
